While the gardens and conservatory are beautiful, the zoo has left me with a pit in my stomache. The apes, lions and monkeys are kept in extremely small confines. The lions are confined to a dark room that's approximately 50 x 50 feet.…

Pros: Amazingly large place where there is something for everyone! Cons: The indoor monkey exhibits during the winter.
